Horses and Livestock

My chickens... I absolutely adore my Buff Cochins... they are beautiful, laid back, and are darn tasty too. Originally known as the Shanghai Chicken, Buff Cochins are mostly bred as an Ornamental Show bird, but also make phenomenal meat birds.

The flock has become somewhat mixed since moving to Fenlea Farm... there are now six Barred Rock cross hens among the Cochins, and in 2009, I hope to add Partridge Cochins to the flock as well.
