Welcome to Highland Clover Farm, situated
in the Cariboo Region of British Columbia.
Highland
Clover Farm was established in 2005, and is home to my horse Mouse, also known as
Justamere Shadow, adopted through FoalQuest in 2002. In addition to Mouse,
you will also find my other horses; Rogue (Highland Rebel), a 2005 Thoroughbred colt by the
stallion Rebmec, out of my mare Brassy (Brass Tactics), who is by the stallion
Police Car.
My goal at
Highland Clover Farm is to become as self-sufficient as possible; meaning that I
will be using the land to raise my own food, and in my wildest dreams, someday
be able to make an income. At this time, I have one ewe named Portia, an angora goat
named Gus,
chickens (my Buff Cochins are here!), and a cat and a dog. Obviously, the two latter are more for companionship than work (though I do
rely on my cat Rhany to keep the vermin at bay, and Sirius and Severus to ward off the
predators), but all the other critters do serve a purpose.
